About
A career spent on every side of the workplace.

Sterling Advisory exists because the workplace rarely speaks clearly to the people inside it. In her work with offices of the general counsel, Sheryl helped shape the policies. As a civil rights attorney, she worked within the law. As a Federal Civil Rights Director, she set the standard for how complaints are investigated. And with her leadership in employee relations, she sat across from employees in their hardest moments.
That four-part vantage point is what clients come for. Strategy isn't theoretical here — it's drawn from real rooms, real decisions, and a deep respect for the human cost on both sides of the table.
Today, the consultancy is deliberately small. Sheryl works directly with each client, by referral and inquiry, and limits engagements to maintain the level of care the work requires.
